 Internship Experience

Stafford Global  is committed to providing interns with a real-world experience through participation in high level company projects with mentor assistance, and exposure to executive management. As an intern you will have a rewarding internship journey that allows you to learn and develop skills necessary to be successful in your IT career.

 Overview

The Information Technology Services (ITS) Department is seeking results-oriented individuals with strong communication skills, client service values, initiative, and want to grow and develop within a closed knit creative team environment. 2022 internship positions are published below.

 1) System Administration (Intern)

Concentrate on the technology infrastructure, operations and service delivery track which includes one or more areas of Network Operations, End User Computing, Enterprise Servers and Storage, Application Deployment, Packaging, Testing and Application Development and Support. The IT Infrastructure intern will have a summer challenging project and will experience working with the industry’s leading technology software/hardware from Microsoft, VM Ware, and HP.

 2) Business Analyst (Intern)

Concentrate on the design, automation and integration of one or more business processes to create value through productivity gains, improved business performance and improved decision support. The IT Business Analyst intern will liaise and collaborate between Information Technology Services and one or more of Stafford Global LLC. business groups for the purpose of achieving sustained improvements.

 3) Software Engineer (Intern)

Concentrate on the development standards set forth by Stafford Global LLC. You will learn to understand the business requirements, decompose to technical requirements then to code in C#, .net and html. You will be assigned a IT Lead to achieve your maximum potential to be successful in IT.

 4) Social Media Representative (Intern)

Will learn to represent and manage Social Media presense of our company as well as taking responsibility of all posts , follow ups and customer experience. Will learn to lead and achieve your maximum potential to be successful as social media manager. This position does not require any professional degree but requires a Bachelors degree in any field

Note: Responsibilities may differ based on the role and where the intern is assigned within the organization.
Participate in day-to-day support activities of your assigned team.
Work with your manager to assist your team in key projects and initiatives
8 to 16 hours per week is expected from you as an Intern

Responsibilties

 
Support and drive project standardization while proactively recommending improvements
 
 
Actively participate in scheduled maintenance and/or update activities to ensure reliability, using best practices and other methodologies to improve work process performance and results
   Participate in new technology and vendor reviews and assessments.
   Consult with experienced staff to understand stakeholder impacts resulting from change.
   Conduct all work activities in compliance with SGIT policies, guidelines, procedures, work processes and internal controls.
   Participate on IT testing of new products or processes.
   Being responsible in ensuring all issues/defects are tracked, monitored and resolved in JIRA/ALM

Qualifications

  Must be at least 18 years of age.
  Must be legally authorized to work in the country that you live in (or) the United States
  Must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree  with (or) without Maths as one of the subjects such as Engineering, MIS, CS, CIS, CT (or) any major
   Minimum GPA of 3.0 or greater and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Office 365 products).
   Customer service-oriented with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills
   Ability to interact in cross-functional groups and engage in team building /team setting.
   Must be effective at transferring technical knowledge within a small group or larger team
   Must possess a drive for excellence, and a desire to be successful
   Prior working experience is not required
