Responsibilities

	Database programmer/analyst to assist in designing and developing databases for IOS/Web based applications
	Must be familiar with DB design, understanding of database diagrams in Visio, Lucid etc.
	Must be familiar with databases that support a single IOS/Web based application.
	Expert at designing SSO based systems, db security at granular level, coding and testing
	Working with outside data sources, SDKs, and APIs
	Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
	DB installation, fine tuning etc.
	Good verbal and written communication skills in English are required

 

Core Skills Required

	3+ years of database programming for IOS/Android app development
	2+ years of firm understanding of db concepts, SDLC principles, capabilities and limitations of mobile platforms (Specifically iOS/Android)
	2+ year of supporting db and delivering native mobile applications on iOS.
	Experience with PL/SQL, SQL developer, MS-SQL, Studio, JIRA and MYSQL

 

Education & Training

	Bachelor's degree in CSE (or) MCA
	Must have completed a professional training course in Database Design and Development
	Experience with Source Control -VSS, TFS, Git etc.
	Experience with Software development life cycle
	Experience with technical documentation and application integration

 

Hours per Week

40 hours (USA CST)

 

Work Location

Remote (Work from home logged into skype (USA CST) (or) request for assistance - Hyd Local)

 

Contract Term

6 months with the option of extension

Client Expectation

You will be required to sign an NDA prior to the initial interview. You will be provided with an overview of the db for IOS application that needs to be developed as part of this phase 1. Design, documentation, coding best practices must be implemented and adhered to during the time-line. Time to complete phase1 is expected at 6 months (go live).db for IOS application must be in sync with the web application that is being developed in parallel. You will interact with the Web/IOS App team developers/testers to code/finalize the db requirements. Must be familiar with db security protocols and standards, tthis is a critical role which requires expert level experience and confidence to implement it.
